Late Cancellation Notification & No Show Policies & Charges
There is a charge for late cancellation notification and No Shows because the Chauffeur loses all possibility of income for the time set aside for the trip. Late flight arrivals are not considered a No Show or insufficient notice. You MUST call us, however, within 30 minutes of a flight’s arrival. Failure to do so may result in a No Show charge.

In the event that you are unable to locate your Chauffeur at the time of the scheduled pick up, you are required to contact Smart Cars at 1-800-871-7627 and Select option #4. Leaving without notification is considered a No Show and is a billable event. Please use this number of there are ANY concerns or issues.

The service charge is thus a function of the ‘type’ of service, vehicle type and initial pick up location.

Point to point Service
At Airports – Minimum of one (1) hour notification.

» Sedans - $35
» Limousines - One (1) hour at the vehicles Charter rate
» Vans $100
» Specialty Vehicles Two (2) hours at the vehicles Charter rate
» Mini and Coach Buses Three (3) hours at the vehicles Charter rate
» Pick ups other than the Airports – Minimum of 2 hour notification
» Sedans - Base fare of the service
» Limousines - One (1.5 ) hours at the vehicles Charter rate
» Vans $150
» Specialty Vehicles Two (2) hours at the vehicles Charter rate
» Mini and Coach Buses Three (3) hours at the vehicles Charter rate

Charter Service
Minimum of 3 hour notification.

For all charter service, irrespective of the vehicle type, the charge for a late cancellation or No Show is the GREATER of a two (2) hour Charter or one half (1/2) the total value of the time reserved for the Charter.

Special Event Service
Minimum of 1 week notice.

For all charter service, irrespective of the vehicle type, the charge for a late cancellation or No Show one half (1/2) the total value of the time reserved for the Special Event.
